All ratings for Flemington are for a Good track, with the rail out 4m. On New Year’s Day with the rail True the track played well, and in straight races winners tended to come down the middle.   At Wyong, ratings are for a Soft track with mixed weather predictions suggesting 5–10mm Friday and 1–5mm Saturday.
